Position Overview
We are seeking a friendly, dependable Dental Assistant to support our clinical team and help deliver outstanding patient care. The ideal candidate is organized, eager to learn, takes pride in high-quality work, and thrives in a fast-paced, modern dental office.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the doctor chairside during a variety of dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain strict infection-control standards
- Take digital X-rays, intraoral camera photos, and impressions/scans (iTero experience is a plus)
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with charting on dentrix
- Ensure a seamless, comfortable patient experience from start to finish
- Set up and break down rooms efficiently between patients
- Manage lab cases, track cases, and communicate with labs as needed
- Support same-day dentistry workflows
- Maintain clinical supply inventory and restock rooms
- Provide post-op instructions and patient education with warmth and clarity
- Collaborate closely with the clinical and front desk teams
- Maintaining tidiness of the office
Qualifications
- Massachusetts Dental Assistant certification (required)
- Radiology certification (required)
- Experience as a dental assistant preferred, but we are open to training the right candidate
- Strong communication and patient-relations skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment
- Positive, professional attitude and strong work ethic
- Willingness to learn advanced technology (CEREC, iTero, digital dentistry)
- Team-oriented mindset and commitment to our practice core values
Pay: From $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32.0 – 36.0 per week
