Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Content Developer II – IT with strong expertise in Power BI dashboard development, data modeling, and reporting solutions .

This role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports that support business decision-making. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience building Power BI solutions from scratch and can translate business requirements into optimized, user-friendly reporting tools.

Key Responsibilities

Dashboard & Report Development

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards using Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service .
• Build reports from scratch aligned with business requirements.
• Optimize reports for performance, scalability, and usability.

Data Modeling & Query Development

• Develop robust data models using best practices:
  • Star schema
  • Normalization
• Write and maintain advanced:
  • DAX (Data Analysis Expressions)
  • M (Power Query Formula Language)
• Integrate data from multiple sources including:
  • Excel
  • SharePoint
  • Cloud platforms

Security & Governance

• Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) .
• Manage workspace permissions and access controls.
• Ensure compliance with reporting standards and governance practices.

Troubleshooting & Maintenance

• Troubleshoot report performance issues.
• Resolve data refresh failures and connectivity issues.
• Maintain documentation of:
  • Data models
  • Report logic
  • Development processes

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Gather and analyze business requirements.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver reporting solutions.
• Communicate technical insights in business-friendly language.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience with:
  • Power BI Desktop
  • Power BI Service
  • Power Query
• Strong proficiency in:
  • DAX
  • M language
• Experience developing dashboards and reports independently.
• Strong understanding of data modeling concepts.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• High attention to detail and adherence to reporting standards.
