DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR
Part Time-25 hours a week
Our high-performing Development and Communications team is seeking a Development Coordinator! The Development Coordinator plays an important role in advancing the mission of the Boys & Girls Club of Burlington as we raise approximately $1.5 million annually from our community. The primary responsibility of this position is the overall management of our well established donor database, Bloomerang. The role also works closely with other Development staff to execute engaging and successful events and communications that connect our community to the importance of our work.
This is a primarily in-office position, with some flexibility provided.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Database Management & Reporting
- Serve as primary administrator of the donor database, responsible for data entry, record management, data clean-up, and ongoing maintenance.
- Process and track contributions received through multiple giving channels, including credit card transactions and workplace giving campaigns
- Generate and distribute gift acknowledgments in a timely and accurate manner.
- Create reports, mailing lists, and data analyses to support fundraising activities and decisions
- Collaborate with the Finance Department to ensure alignment of fundraising and accounting records.
2. Events
- Support the Development team in planning and executing events, including community tours of the Boys & Girls Club, by assisting with invitations, guest tracking, attendee communications, and logistics.
3. Communications & Support
- Support fundraising communications by managing mailing lists and email marketing and event platforms
- Provide general communications support, including social media and website updates and other outreach activities as needed.

- Comfort using basic office systems such as spreadsheets, email platforms, and online tools.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with a diverse group of people
- Collaborative, dependable, and willing to support a variety of administrative, event, and communications tasks.
Preferred (Not Required)
- Experience with donor databases or similar systems (i.e. Bloomerang)
- Experience in nonprofit, mission driven work
- Familiarity with email marketing, event registration tools, or data reporting systems.

COMPENSATION
- $23-$27/hour
- 40 hours a year of paid time off, after six months of service
- Other employee benefits provided to part time employees

- Development Director
- Works closely with Development Manager
