Director of Marketing & Growth
College Station, TX · Hybrid eligible · $100,000–$150,000 base + performance bonus
The Opportunity
We're looking for a strategic, hands-on marketing leader to own lead generation, brand, digital marketing, and marketing systems across our family of companies. This is a build role, not a maintain role: you'll have full ownership of the marketing function, direct access to leadership, and the resources to run it — not just one piece of it. You should be equally comfortable setting strategy and executing day to day, fluent in AI-driven marketing tools, and able to translate complex data into decisions executives, sales, and operations can act on.
Compensation & What We Offer
- Base salary of $100,000–$150,000, based on experience, plus a performance bonus tied directly to the marketing-generated revenue and pipeline metrics you already own below.
- Relocation assistance is available for the right candidate.
- Hybrid flexibility after ramp-up.
- Real budget and authority to run the function — tools, agencies/contractors, and campaigns — rather than just executing someone else's plan.
- [Benefits: health/dental/vision, 401(k) match, PTO — confirm final details.]
Why College Station
A Texas A&M college town with big-city amenities and small-city cost of living: housing runs roughly 27% below the national average, there's no state income tax, and commutes are measured in minutes, not hours. It's an easy place to build a life while doing bigger-company caliber work — and your paycheck goes noticeably further here than it would in Austin, Houston, or Dallas.
What You'll Own
- Demand generation — build strategies that generate qualified sales opportunities; own PPC, SEO, paid social, retargeting, and outbound campaign performance; evaluate new acquisition channels, including AI-driven search.
- Digital & web — manage all company websites, conversion rate, user experience, landing pages, and analytics.
- Analytics & reporting — lead weekly marketing reporting; turn data into clear, immediate business recommendations.
- Marketing systems — expand Salesforce marketing automation, drip and email campaigns, and evaluate/implement AI tools across the function.
- Brand & content — oversee photo/video libraries, AI-assisted content creation, collateral, bid packages, and social media.
- Events — plan trade shows and customer events; measure ROI.
- AI strategy — evaluate emerging AI tools and advise leadership on where to invest.
Success Metrics
Performance is measured on qualified leads and marketing-sourced revenue, website traffic and conversion, SEO rankings, PPC ROI, cost per qualified lead, sales pipeline contribution, marketing automation adoption, and trade show/campaign ROI.
What You Bring
- 5–12 years leading B2B marketing, including time at a larger or more established marketing organization.
- Hands-on, current experience applying AI tools in marketing workflows — not just familiarity, but implementation.
- Strong command of PPC, SEO, CRM, and marketing automation; Salesforce experience preferred.
- Sharp analytical and project management skills.
- Comfortable communicating with executives, engineers, sales, operations, and customers alike.
- Background in industrial, manufacturing, construction, or technical sales preferred.
