Duties & Responsibilities

• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using standard software development methodologies
• Debug and troubleshoot issues and perform Unit and Integration testing to ensure software quality and reliability
• Continuously learn new technologies and best practices to improve skills and stay up to date on relevant topics
• Assisting with exploring/testing AI-powered tools and workflows (automation scripts, AI-assisted coding tools, intelligent document processing) alongside Wiss Labs
• Supporting prototyping of simple AI/automation use cases under guidance from senior engineers
• Attend team meetings and participate in Agile development practices
• Establishing continuous integration/continuous development (CI/CD) pipeline for deployment automation
• User training or overview on the features implemented
• Monitoring of production environment and providing production support

What we are looking for:

• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• A willingness to learn new technologies and languages as required by the role
• Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision, prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with others
• Experience with minimum one programming language and/or development platforms such as HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, and/or CSS
• Understanding of software development methodologies
• Understanding of basic principles of Object-Oriented Programming (OOPs)
• Understanding of Web Pages, and how to interact with the Document Object Model (DOM)
• Understanding of databases and basic SQL queries
• Curiosity about or exposure to AI tools is a plus, though not required
