Introduction: The incumbent manages and directs the daily Mess Attendant Services to provide quality customer service, and maintains the sanitary and food safety contitions are met/exceeded. Oversees the dining services opetations of a medium to large volume Mess Hall and ensures Contract Statement Of Work (SOW) requirements are met.. Incumbent will manage a team of mess hall attendants and be responsible for the overall service in the main dining room as well as special functions.

Major Duties:

• Maintains positive client and customer relations addressing complaints in a service-oriented manner.
• Works with Mess Hall General Manager to deliver high quality Mess Attendant Services.
• Creates a positive work environment, coaches, corrects and provides constructive feedback to employees.
• Ensures safe working environment requirements are met.
• Ensures that cleanliness and sanitation of service areas and storage facilities are maintained at all times.
• Monitors internal quality assurance and food safety audit processes to ensure that HACCP and contract quality requirements are met.
• Assists in the responsibility for all food service-related activities and is primarily involved in meal services in a seated dining room setting, including customer satisfaction, quality improvement, sanitation, infection control and all facility-related activities.
• Prepares and manages labor reports and other required contractural deliverables including payroll and HR related issues.
• Has ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills and a high level of customer service.
• Can demonstrate ability to prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
