Candidates should be self-motivated, results-driven developers with 10+ years of demonstrable experience architecting, designing, developing, testing, and deploying production-grade software solutions.

The ideal candidate takes initiative, demonstrates strong problem-solving skills, and collaborates effectively within cross-functional teams. Candidates must be comfortable interfacing directly with clients and able to clearly translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.

Candidates should also be proficient in modern software development practices, including:

• Front-end JavaScript frameworks
• API design and integration, including RESTful principles and service-oriented architectures
• Object-oriented design principles, with a solid understanding of SOLID principles in C#
• Strong experience with SQL and relational database management systems
• Building and maintaining scalable, maintainable, and secure applications

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Analyze highly complex business requirements; generate technical specifications to modernize complex legacy software components and applications.
• Act as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation, and analysis efforts. Leverage industry best practices to design, test, implement, and support a solution.
• Assure quality security and compliance requirements are met for supported areas. Be flexible and thrive in an evolving environment.

Required Skills, Qualifications, Certifications:

• BA/BS degree
• Must be able to obtain & maintain a 5C Public Trust security clearance (US Citizenship required)
• Have 10+ years’ demonstrable experience with architecting, designing, coding, testing, and deploying new products.
• Designing and developing custom web applications in .NET Core, Python, and SQL Server environments
• Writing clean, scalable code using .NET, C#, and TypeScript
• Relational database table and stored procedure design and development
• JavaScript front-end framework experience with Angular, Vue or React
• Entity Framework or similar ORM
• Participation in an Agile development culture (Scrum meetings, Sprint Planning, Sprint Retrospective, etc.)
• Testing and deploying applications and systems
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills and an eye for details
• Excellent estimating and risk management skills
• Be flexible and thrive in an evolving environment.

Desired Skills, Qualifications, Certifications:

• Python experience with Pandas, Flask or equivalent, and other Python peripherals
• Familiarity as a whole with the AWS platform.
• Experience using Jira or other ticket tracking systems.
• Solid understanding of Git source control

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $150,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
