mWave Industries, LLC in Windham, Maine, a part of the Portland, Maine Metropolitan area, is hiring for a Electronic Tech & Assembler. mWAVE is a leading global provider of innovative custom and commercial microwave antenna solutions for Commercial, Exploration, Communications, Military and Government customers. Our antennas are recognized worldwide for robust designs and reliability.

mWAVE is part of Alaris Holdings Ltd, a global technology company with engineering and manufacturing locations in the US, UK, Finland, Germany, and South Africa.

Responsibilities / Job Specifications

• Must enjoy working outdoors - 50% of work is completed outside on test range
• Must be able to lift 75 lbs
• Must be able to climb 50 vertical feet
• Basic understanding of electromagnetic theory and physics/math
• Be able to fabricate prototypes, assemble electronic systems, solder, 3D print
• Help manage, maintain, and use: test equipment, range, and indoor chamber
• Assist in antenna measurements and documenting test procedures
• Antenna measurement in the chamber
• Antenna measurement Far field measurements (gain, patterns, Cross pole ETC) Far field range
• Assist with report writing and pattern annotation

Minimum Education (Suggested)

• Associates Degree EET
• or Military Training in RF

Computer Literacy (Required)

• MS Excel (Intermediate)

• Basic understanding of computer hardware
