Position Description
Through direction from the EHS Director, the EHS Engineer is responsible for managing
the day-to-day environmental, health, and safety operations at QCi’s four semiconductor
manufacturing facilities in New Jersey and Massachusetts. This role requires a strong
environmental compliance background and encompasses hazardous materials
management, chemical inventory control, emergency response readiness, and
regulatory compliance activities. The successful candidate will play a hands-on role in
maintaining a safe work environment while ensuring the facility meets all applicable
federal, state, and local EHS regulations. The role will be based in Bedford, MA location
and travel to the other locations as needed with 25-30% travel expected.
Duties and Responsibilities
inspections across all sites; perform inspections directly at Bedford and ensure
completion at remote locations.
ensuring proper labeling, storage, and manifesting in accordance with RCRA and
applicable state regulations.
storage conditions, and maintain an accurate chemical inventory database.
assessing hazards, and ensuring proper documentation before materials are
approved and ordered.
MA location, responding to chemical spills and releases and performing cleanup
in accordance with established procedures.
