General Description:

Looking for a skilled IPC 620 certified electronics/wire technician who can create custom cable assemblies, troubleshoot (using technical drawings and schematics) calibrate printed circuit board assemblies, and assemble custom electro-mechanical products. Monsoon is a leader in Printed Circuit Board design and quick-turn PCBA development builds. We work on a high mix of innovative new products.

Duties:

· Build custom cable assemblies

· Rework PCBAs

· Assemble electro-mechanical box builds.

· Perform quality checks on electronic components, PCBs, and PCBAs.

· Work with EEs to diagnose and troubleshoot PCBAs

· Document rework instructions for other users.

· Modify plastic and metal enclosures.

· Testing and calibration using a computer (instruction will be provided).

· Deliveries: Use company vehicle to make vendor/customer pick-ups.

Job Requirements:

· 5+ years’ experience working with custom cable assemblies or PCB assemblies.

· IPC 620 certified

· US permanent resident or citizen (many projects have ITAR requirements)

· Extraordinary attention to detail.

· Ability to re-work fine-pitch parts (0201 passives, QFNs, etc.).

· Ability to read/follow electronic schematics.

· Experienced with power meters and O-scopes.

· Experienced with lab power tools (drills, router, saws).

· Must be able to carry 30lbs.

· Must have a clean driving and criminal record.

· Strong communication skills.

· Proficient in MS Excel, Access, Word, Outlook, and Adobe PDF.

· Preferred experience with mechanical assembly.

· Preferred IPC certification.
