Degryse Electric, Inc. is seeking a motivated Electrical Apprentice to join our growing team and gain hands-on experience across a wide range of commercial electrical projects. From Office T.I.s to Retail, Restaurants to Medical facilities, our apprentices work alongside seasoned professionals to learn the trade, develop technical skills, and contribute to high-quality installations.

Responsibilities Include but Are Not Limited To:

• Installation Support: Assist in installing panels, switch gears, outlets, lighting systems, and power for mechanical equipment.
• Tool & Material Handling: Safely handle tools and materials, ensuring job site readiness and organization.
• Code Learning: Learn and apply the National Electric Code under supervision.
• Blueprint Reading: Support interpretation of blueprints and drawings to guide installations.
• Safety Practices: Follow OSHA standards and company safety protocols at all times.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with journeymen and foremen to complete tasks efficiently.
• Site Cleanliness: Maintain clean and organized work areas during and after projects.
• Documentation: Assist with work logs, material tracking, and other administrative tasks.
• Emergency Support: Be available for emergency service calls and flexible scheduling.

The Ideal Candidate Should Possess:

• Enrollment: Active enrollment in a recognized electrical apprenticeship program preferred.
• Experience: Require 3-4 years in the electrical field.
• Technical Interest: Strong desire to learn electrical systems and safety protocols.
• Work Ethic: Reliable, punctual, and committed to doing quality work.
• Communication: Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively with team members.
• Physical Stamina: Capable of lifting, climbing, and working in various conditions.
• Driver's License: Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Adaptability: Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and respond to emergency calls.
