Heraeus Electro-Nite Co., LLC is the world leader in sensors and instrumentation used in molten steel production. We are looking for a hands-on, mechanically inclined Sales Service Technician to support some of North America's leading steel manufacturers.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with an Associate Degree, technical certification, or military technical training in engineering technology, industrial maintenance, electrical technology, mechanical systems, instrumentation, mechatronics, or a related field who enjoy troubleshooting equipment, solving problems, and working independently.

Based in Colorado or Utah, you will travel throughout the western United States to support customers in CO, UT, TX, OK, WA, OR, and AZ. Every day brings new challenges, customer interactions, and opportunities to apply your technical skills in a real-world industrial environment.

What You'll Do

As a Sales Service Technician, you will be the face of Heraeus Electro-Nite at customer sites, helping ensure critical measurement and sensing equipment performs reliably and supports uninterrupted steel production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform hands-on troubleshooting, repair, calibration, and preventive maintenance of instrumentation and related equipment.
• Provide technical support and training to customers on-site.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels at customer facilities.
• Build poles and maintain field equipment to company standards.
• Respond to customer needs and help resolve equipment issues quickly and professionally.
• Maintain accurate service, inventory, and maintenance records.
• Follow all safety requirements and promote a strong safety culture.

Qualifications:

• Associate Degree, technical diploma, or certification in:
• Engineering Technology
• Industrial Maintenance
• Electrical Technology
• Mechanical Technology
• Instrumentation & Controls
• Mechatronics
• Automation Technology
• Related technical fields
• Experience in a manufacturing, industrial maintenance, mining, metals, energy, chemical processing, or other heavy industrial environment.
• Basic electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read blue prints, drawings, diagrams and use basic hand tools.
• Ability to work independently, stay organized, and build positive customer relationships.
• Strong safety mindset and commitment to following established procedures.

What You Need

• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Ability to travel (via driving and flying) extensively (75-100%), including overnight travel.
• Ability to work in industrial environments that may involve heat, cold, noise, and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Ability to occasionally lift and move up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to occasionally respond to customer needs outside normal business hours.
• Authorization to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
• Successful completion of a background check and drug screening.
