Join our innovative team as a Field Electrical Engineer and be at industrial and manufacturing, data center electrical systems (medium and low voltage power distribution systems, UPSs, transformers, busway power delivery, switchgear, mechanical cooling system power distribution etc.)
and automation projects. Your expertise will drive project success, ensure compliance with electrical codes, and contribute to the development of advanced electronics and control systems. Duties
- Lead on-site installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical systems, including control panels, automation equipment, and communication systems.
- Develop detailed electrical schematics, circuit diagrams, and system layouts using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or MicroStation.
- Perform root cause analysis on electrical failures or system malfunctions to identify issues efficiently and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct engineering testing and validation of PCB designs, FPGA configurations, SoC integrations, and firmware updates to ensure system integrity.
- Apply electrical building codes (NEC) and safety standards (NFPA 70 compliance) during design, installation, and maintenance activities.
- Utilize simulation tools like MATLAB/Simulink for system development verification and control systems modeling.
- Support manufacturing processes by designing electronics for surface mount technology (SMT), soldering components accurately, and ensuring quality standards are met.
- Use scripting languages such as Python or Perl for automation tasks, data analysis, or debugging complex systems.
- Engage in mechanical integration efforts using Revit or SolidWorks to coordinate electrical installations within mechanical assemblies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; advanced certifications are a plus.
- Proven experience practicing in an industrial or manufacturing engineering role with hands-on electrical system design and troubleshooting expertise.
- Strong knowledge of electronics design principles including PCB layout, schematic capture, and circuit design using CAD software.
- Familiarity with FPGA programming (SystemVerilog), embedded firmware development (C++, ARM microcontrollers), and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Experience with signal processing techniques, vision inspection systems, and automation control systems.
- Ability to perform debugging using tools such as ohmmeters, oscilloscopes, or logic analyzers; proficiency in simulation tools like MATLAB/Simulink is desirable.
- Mechanical knowledge related to surface mount technology (SMT), soldering techniques, and mechanical integration using Revit or MicroStation is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of electrical codes (NEC), safety standards (NFPA 70), and industrial automation protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to conduct root cause analysis efficiently under pressure.
- Effective project scheduling skills with experience managing multiple tasks simultaneously in fast-paced environments.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Perl for automation workflows or data analysis is preferred.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
