Role Overview:

Oliveda is seeking a passionate and highly skilled Electrical Engineer with extensive experience in the development of health devices and smart wearables. This role is for someone ready to merge cutting-edge engineering with beauty and wellness innovation, creating hardware that transforms the way customers experience self-care. You’ll own the electrical design, prototyping, and validation of wearable devices that integrate seamlessly with our holistic approach to beauty and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:

Design & Development

• Lead electrical design and integration of smart wearable health devices, including analog/mixed-signal circuits, sensor systems, and low-power architectures.
• Develop prototypes and iterate on wearable devices that enhance user experience and deliver accurate, reliable health metrics.
• Collaborate with mechanical, firmware, software, and UX teams to bring cross-disciplinary innovations to life.

Testing & Validation

• Define and execute validation and calibration protocols for sensors and electrical systems.
• Conduct benchtop and on-body testing to ensure high performance across diverse conditions and users.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues, optimizing hardware for accuracy, durability, and manufacturability.

Integration & Scale

• Partner with internal teams and external vendors to select, integrate, and validate sensors and components.
• Support scale-up from prototype to production, ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
• Stay current with emerging wearable technologies and trends in health, wellness, and consumer devices.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering or related field (PhD a plus).
• 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering for wearable devices, health sensors, or consumer IoT hardware.
• Deep understanding of analog/mixed-signal circuits, PCB design, low-power systems, signal acquisition, and sensor integration.
• Experience with testing, validation, and debugging of wearable electronics.
• Proficiency with embedded systems, firmware collaboration, and data acquisition tools (C/C++, Python, MATLAB).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in fast-paced, cross-functional teams.
• Passion for health, wellness, beauty tech, and delivering transformative user experiences.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: $95,000 – $115,000 per year (based on experience)
