Are you passionate about improving engine performance and developing advanced powertrain technology? Join a team focused on calibrating engine control systems for North American and global vehicle programs. In this role, you'll combine hands-on vehicle testing with data analysis to help deliver engines that meet emissions, fuel economy, performance, and drivability targets.

What You'll Do

• Calibrate engine control systems for North American and global vehicle programs.
• Tune engine controls to meet emissions, fuel economy, power, drivability, and OBD requirements.
• Plan and manage calibration activities to support project timelines.
• Prepare vehicles for testing, collect and analyze data, and create technical reports.
• Validate software logic and calibration values through testing.
• Work closely with engineers and calibration technicians to troubleshoot and improve engine performance.
• Conduct vehicle testing in a variety of conditions, including hot, cold, and high-altitude environments.
• Complete required technical and driver training to support development activities.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering field.
• 1+ years of engine calibration experience.
• Strong understanding of internal combustion engine operation and controls.
• Experience troubleshooting technical issues and developing engineering solutions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Valid driver's license with an excellent driving record.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with emissions, drivability, OBD, or bench calibration.
• Experience with conventional and/or hybrid powertrain calibration.
• Knowledge of U.S. and global emissions and OBD regulations.
• Experience supporting global vehicle programs or international markets.
• Experience with Model-Based Development or calibration processes.
• Proficiency with MATLAB, Simulink, C/C++, Python, VBA, or similar engineering tools.
• Experience using project management or calibration tools.
• Comfortable working with cross-functional and global engineering teams.
