In this role, you will use your HVAC knowledge every day to help customers, contractors, and internal teams troubleshoot Cold Point air conditioning and heat pump systems. Instead of driving from jobsite to jobsite, you will work from our facility as a key technical resource for customers who need expert guidance.

You will help diagnose equipment issues, identify replacement parts, support warranty questions, and communicate solutions clearly and professionally.

What You’ll Do

The Technical Service & Parts Specialist is the primary point of contact for customers seeking expert support for Cold Point Corporation manufactured air conditioning and heat pump systems. This role is a critical blend of technical troubleshooting, component sales, and customer service. The specialist ensures optimal system performance and customer satisfaction through prompt service, clear communication, and in-depth product knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert technical support and troubleshooting for Cold Point air conditioning and heat pump systems via phone, email, or online platforms.
• Accurately diagnose system issues and recommend appropriate solutions or replacement parts. · Assist customers in identifying, ordering, and purchasing replacement components and accessories.
• Maintain detailed records of service requests, customer interactions, and parts sales.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to stay up to date on new products, system changes, and technical bulletins.
• Ensure timely and professional follow-up to all inquiries and support requests.
• Promote customer satisfaction by delivering clear, courteous, and solution-oriented communication.
• Support warranty claims and return processes by verifying eligibility and coordinating with internal departments.

Qualifications

• Technical background in HVAC, refrigeration, or a related field; associate degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills in mechanical and electrical systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft excel, word, etc..
• Customer service experience, particularly in a technical or manufacturing environment, is highly desirable.
