Job Title: Lead Business Analyst

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Lead Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of Business Analysis experience and a strong track record of partnering with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions. This role requires expertise in requirements gathering, SDLC, Agile methodologies, and business process improvement, along with excellent communication and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead business analysis activities throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
• Develop and maintain Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs), user stories, use cases, workflows, and process maps.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings, workshops, interviews, and knowledge transfer sessions.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including Developers, QA, Deployment, and Operations, to ensure successful project delivery.
• Identify business challenges and recommend effective, scalable solutions.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by validating requirements and ensuring business needs are met.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Mentor junior Business Analysts and provide guidance on best practices.
• Maintain accurate project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of Business Analyst experience.
• Strong knowledge of Business Analysis methodologies and best practices.
• Experience with requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation.
• Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience working with cross-functional business and technical teams.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading or mentoring Business Analysts.
• Experience with enterprise-wide business process improvement initiatives.
• Hands-on experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar Agile project management tools.
• Experience using Microsoft Visio or other process mapping tools.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
