Job Description:
Anchor Planning is seeking a BIM Technician to support the development, coordination, and maintenance of Building Information Models (BIM) for healthcare and medical equipment planning projects. This role will work closely with the BIM Manager and Equipment Planning team to create, update, and maintain Revit models, medical equipment families, and project documentation. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and enjoys solving technical problems in a collaborative environment.
The BIM Technician will support our team and serve as a collaborator between the client, equipment planner, design team, and contractor. As a BIM Technician you will work in the Equipment Planning Group with design teams creating and managing medical equipment placement drawings in architectural Revit models, developing medical equipment families, and coordinating equipment in 3D models.

Qualifications:
This position requires experience in design at a production level with an emphasis on architectural design and drafting and a core competency in collaborating with a large team in a BIM environment. The successful candidate will be required to work independently and must be able to interpret direction either written or oral and will work within multiple project schedules.
Special consideration will be given to candidates with knowledge of procedures for production of 3D renderings, design development and construction documents, and knowledge of architectural planning, drafting, and detailing.
Our work is fast-paced, and we need a candidate who can learn quickly, assist with improving/building processes, and can navigate new technology.
No prior medical equipment planning experience is required. Anchor Planning provides training on healthcare design standards, medical equipment planning workflows, and industry-specific software and processes.
