Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Inside Sales Representative to join our growing sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing our sales pipeline, collaborating effectively with Outside Sales, and ensuring exceptional service throughout the project lifecycle. This role is vital in driving our sales operations and ensuring that our clients receive the best possible solutions tailored to their needs.
Responsibilities:
Sales Operations & Pipeline Management
- Manage the sales pipeline and collaborate closely with Outside Sales to strategize on high-value project opportunities and address customer-specific challenges.
- Relay competitive market intelligence to Outside Sales, identifying shifts in the customer landscape and new lead opportunities to expand client outreach.
- Drive the estimating process by providing the estimating team with accurate, detailed specifications along with timeline expectations.
- Deliver estimates to customers promptly and communicate all relevant details for clear understanding and support.
- Oversee consistency and competitiveness in our quoting efforts, staying aware of cost drivers and identifying alternatives when necessary.
- Provide direction to estimating to align with shifting customer requests and priorities.
- Balance client demands with operational realities, ensuring all confirmed orders are released to the manufacturing team with complete and clear data to meet customer expectations.
- Ensure timely release of all customer orders, including matching Purchase Orders with Estimates, confirming revision levels, obtaining customer acknowledgments, and facilitating engineering part files.
Project Release Execution
- Orchestrate project releases by clearly communicating objectives among Engineering, Production, Project Management, Order Entry, and Logistics to ensure quality and on-time delivery.
- Secure customer timelines by managing project expectations proactively and promoting manufacturing capacity profiles to avoid production bottlenecks.
- Resolve manufacturing bottlenecks and setbacks through rapid collaborative problem-solving to maintain client satisfaction.
- Lead involvement with key sourcing partners to secure competitive and timely support for all projects.
- Manage customer expectations while adapting to their unique challenges and change notices, providing transparent updates throughout the project lifecycle.
- Mobilize internal teams by setting clear objectives and fostering a high-performance environment to meet rigorous production deadlines.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in sales, inside sales, or related field.
- Strong understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Salary and Benefits:
- Pay Range: $75k+ per year, based on experience.
