We're looking for an experienced Manufacturing Production Supervisor to lead daily production operations, develop employees, improve manufacturing processes, and help drive operational excellence throughout our facility.

What You'll Do
As the Manufacturing Production Supervisor, you will oversee daily production activities while ensuring safety, quality, and productivity goals are consistently achieved.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead daily operations for production personnel
- Assign work, establish priorities, and monitor employee performance
- Ensure production schedules and customer requirements are met
- Maintain the highest standards of product quality and process compliance
- Stop production when quality or process issues occur and implement corrective actions
- Authorize first article inspections and production releases
- Monitor production efficiencies and equipment performance
- Analyze production data and identify opportunities for process improvements
- Lead Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
- Utilize OEE and other manufacturing metrics to improve productivity
- Partner with Engineering to improve equipment, tooling, and manufacturing processes
- Support project transfers, new product launches, and production start-ups
- Develop and maintain work instructions, standard operating procedures, and training materials
- Train, mentor, and develop production employees
- Conduct employee performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching
- Promote and maintain a safe work environment while ensuring compliance with company safety policies and PPE requirements
- Prepare reports and present production performance metrics to leadership
- Assist with inventory counts, spare parts management, and purchasing requests
- Provide hands-on support on the production floor when needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
QualificationsRequired
- 3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Experience managing production schedules and manufacturing operations
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
Preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
- Experience using SAP or other ERP systems
- Knowledge of OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness)
- Experience improving manufacturing processes and equipment
- Experience in plastics, stamping, molding, or automated manufacturing environments
- German language skills are a plus but not required

Pay: $70,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
