We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Executive Director to lead our hospice organization with passion and strategic vision. Duties

• Provide visionary leadership to all departments, promoting a culture of excellence, compassion, and continuous improvement in hospice care services
• Oversee daily operations, including patient care coordination, clinical services, and administrative functions, ensuring compliance with healthcare standards and regulations
• Develop and implement strategic plans to expand service offerings, improve quality metrics, and enhance patient satisfaction
• Manage financial performance through budgeting, utilization management, and resource allocation to ensure organizational sustainability
• Supervise senior management staff, including nursing leadership, case managers, social workers, and administrative personnel
• Foster strong relationships with community partners, referral sources, and regulatory agencies to promote organizational growth and reputation
• Ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations, medical records management, and EMR/EHR systems for accurate documentation and data security
• Promote staff development through training initiatives focused on critical care experience, hospice care protocols, medical terminology, and nurse management

Requirements

• Proven experience in healthcare management with a focus on hospice or senior care environments
• Demonstrated supervisory experience leading multidisciplinary teams in complex healthcare settings
• Extensive knowledge of patient care practices within hospice, acute care hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities or Level I/II trauma centers
• Strong understanding of medical records systems (EMR/EHR), HIPAA compliance, and utilization/case management processes
• Experience managing budgets and implementing utilization strategies to optimize resource use
• Excellent communication skills for engaging staff, patients’ families, community partners and regulatory bodies
• Ability to navigate healthcare regulations effectively while maintaining a focus on compassionate patient care

Pay: $135,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
