Position Overview

The Digital Experience Developer is responsible for the design, development, optimization, performance, security, and continuous improvement of FallTech's digital ecosystem.

This position serves as the technical owner of FallTech's corporate website, landing pages, HubSpot CMS environment, digital user experience, website integrations, marketing technologies, and customer-facing web applications.

Working closely with Marketing, Product Management, Sales, Engineering, IT, and external development partners, this role transforms business objectives into engaging digital experiences that strengthen brand awareness, increase customer engagement, generate qualified leads, and improve website conversion performance.

The ideal candidate is equally comfortable writing clean front-end code, solving technical problems, analyzing website performance metrics, implementing SEO best practices, and identifying new technologies, including Artificial Intelligence, to improve the customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Strategy & Website Ownership

• Serve as the technical owner of all FallTech web properties and digital experiences.
• Develop and execute technical strategies that support marketing, branding, lead generation, and business growth.
• Recommend emerging technologies that improve website performance, customer engagement, and digital capabilities.
• Maintain long-term scalability, maintainability, and security of the company's digital platforms.
• Participate in strategic planning for digital initiatives, product launches, and online customer engagement.

Website Development & Maintenance

• Develop, maintain, and continuously improve FallTech's corporate website, distributor portal, landing pages, microsites, and digital applications.
• Build responsive, mobile-first web pages that perform consistently across browsers and devices.
• Maintain reusable code libraries and front-end components that support long-term maintainability.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Creative teams to translate designs into engaging digital experiences.
• Maintain coding standards, version control, technical documentation, and development best practices.
• Coordinate with external development partners as necessary.

User Experience (UX) & Conversion Optimization

• Improve user journeys, website navigation, and overall customer experience.
• Design and implement user interface enhancements that increase engagement and lead conversion.
• Optimize landing pages, calls-to-action, and conversion funnels.
• Conduct A/B testing and analyze results to continuously improve website effectiveness.
• Recommend improvements based on customer behavior, usability testing, and analytics.

Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

• Implement technical SEO best practices across all web properties.
• Optimize metadata, schema markup, page hierarchy, internal linking, and website architecture.
• Monitor and resolve SEO issues affecting rankings and visibility.
• Partner with Marketing and content teams to improve organic search performance.
• Support distributor, product, and local SEO initiatives.

Website Performance, Security & Accessibility

• Monitor and improve website speed, Core Web Vitals, and overall performance.
• Ensure compliance with WCAG accessibility standards.
• Maintain browser compatibility across modern platforms.
• Optimize images, scripts, and code to improve loading performance.
• Identify and resolve security vulnerabilities, broken links, and technical issues.

Analytics & Digital Performance

• Configure and maintain:
• Google Analytics 4
• Google Tag Manager
• HubSpot Analytics

• Develop dashboards and reports that measure:

• User behavior

• Customer engagement
• Utilize Power BI and other reporting tools to provide actionable insights that support business decisions.

Marketing Technology & Systems Integration

• Build and maintain lead generation forms and marketing automation workflows.
• Support integrations between HubSpot, BigCommerce, CRM systems, and third-party platforms.
• Troubleshoot technical issues impacting website functionality and data flow.
• Assist with implementation of personalization, marketing automation, and customer experience enhancements.
• Collaborate with IT on API integrations and data synchronization.

Artificial Intelligence & Digital Innovation

• Research and evaluate AI technologies that improve customer engagement and digital marketing effectiveness.
• Support implementation of AI-powered website assistants, intelligent search capabilities, and personalized customer experiences.
• Explore AI-assisted content optimization, chatbot technologies, and emerging digital solutions.
• Recommend innovative technologies that improve operational efficiency and strengthen FallTech's digital presence.

Technical Quality Assurance

• Perform ongoing quality assurance testing across all digital platforms.
• Monitor website uptime, functionality, tracking accuracy, and system health.
• Identify and resolve bugs, usability issues, broken links, and browser compatibility concerns.
• Maintain development documentation, coding standards, and deployment procedures.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Software Engineering, Digital Media, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum five (5) years of progressive front-end web development experience.
• Experience supporting digital marketing initiatives within manufacturing, industrial, B2B, or e-commerce environments preferred.
• Experience working within HubSpot CMS, BigCommerce, WordPress, or similar content management platforms.
• Experience supporting corporate websites with high traffic volumes and lead generation objectives.

Pay: $110,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
