Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Toast POS ensuring quick processing of sales transactions
• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic options, demonstrating cocktail experience and spirits knowledge
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations, including food handling and food safety practices
• Assist with food service duties such as bussing tables, setting up bar stations, and supporting kitchen staff when needed
• Manage guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly to ensure a positive dining experience

Skills

• Proven experience with POS systems like Toast POS for efficient sales processing
• Strong knowledge of beverage preparation including cocktails, spirits, wine, and basic bartending techniques
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing time efficiently
• Experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially fine dining or hospitality settings
• Familiarity with food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations
• Demonstrated upselling skills to promote menu items confidently and increase sales volume
• Basic math skills for cash handling and sales transaction accuracy
• Team-oriented mindset with prior host/hostess or serving experience preferred for seamless guest flow management
