Wright is looking for an Electrical Engineer I with 2+ years of experience to be part of a growing R&D team. This is a hands-on position to rapidly prototype power electronic and control systems for motor and generator applications. Requirements for this position include:

Required:

• Minimum 2 years of professional electrical engineering experience is required
• Experience with prototype and product development
• Experience with supporting testing and test-plan development
• Experience with identifying and sourcing components to realize a design
• Ability to work with and engage team members across departments
• Capable of owning tasks from beginning to end

Desired

• Master of Science in Electrical Engineering is preferred
• Experience with motors, drives, and power electronics
• Experience with aircraft and aerospace systems
• Experience with generators and micro-grids
• Experience with embedded firmware development
• Experience with Matlab & Simulink (Simscape Electrical, Embedded Coder, etc.)
• Experience with CANBUS development

Location:

Malta, NY. On-site presence is required.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
