Job Overview

We are seeking TWO skilled and detail-oriented Production Print/Press Operators II to join our growing manufacturing team. This role involves operating and maintaining various printing presses and industrial equipment to produce high-quality label/packaging/tape. Will be learning Mark Andy 2200 machine, along with other slitting/cutting machines. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical proficiency in machine operation, color management, and prepress processes, ensuring that every project meets exact specifications and quality standards. As a key contributor to our production team, you will support the seamless execution of print/cutting jobs from setup to completion, fostering efficiency and excellence in our manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate a range of printing equipment including Mark Andy 2200 large-format printers, Catbridge rewinders/slitters, flexo presses and printers, to produce diverse tape/label and print products.
• Interpret production documents accurately, ensuring precise setup and execution of each job according to specifications.
• Manage color consistency through effective color management techniques, maintaining fidelity across different media and substrates.
• Perform routine maintenance, mechanical adjustments, and troubleshooting on industrial equipment to minimize downtime.
• Execute tasks such as cutting, binding, and quality control checks to ensure finished products meet quality standards.
• Maintain safety protocols and adhere to manufacturing best practices while operating machinery including forklifts.
• Assist in process improvements by providing feedback on machine performance and workflow efficiencies.

Requirement

• Proven experience operating large press machines/printers with rollers/drums, flexo presses, or similar industrial printing equipment.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform adjustments and troubleshoot complex machinery.
• Familiarity with industrial equipment safety procedures and forklift operation
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to interpret technical drawings and production documents accurately.
• Basic understanding of quality control procedures to ensure high standards are maintained throughout production.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work on other equipment when necessary, based on project volume.

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
