Responsibilities

• Conduct non-destructive testing procedures including ultrasonic, magnetic particle, liquid penetrant, radiographic, and eddy current inspections to detect flaws or defects in materials and assemblies.
• Interpret schematics, technical drawings, and inspection reports to accurately assess component integrity.
• Utilize hand tools such as calipers, micrometers, and soldering equipment to prepare and examine test samples or components.
• Collect and analyze data during inspections to identify deviations from quality standards and document findings thoroughly.
• Perform quality control checks during manufacturing processes, ensuring compliance with ASME codes & standards and company specifications.
• Assist in calibration of testing equipment and maintain detailed records of inspection results for quality assurance documentation.
• Support assembly processes by verifying component fit, alignment, and structural integrity through precise measurements and inspections.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with non-destructive testing methods such as ultrasonic, radiography, magnetic particle, or liquid penetrant testing.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in reading schematics, technical drawings, and assembly instructions.
• Skilled in the use of hand tools including calipers, micrometers, schematics reading devices, and soldering tools.
• Knowledge of quality control and quality assurance practices within manufacturing environments.
• Ability to interpret data accurately and perform detailed analysis to identify potential issues or defects.
• Familiarity with industry standards such as ASME codes & standards is highly desirable.
• Excellent attention to detail combined with strong organizational skills to maintain inspection records effectively.

Pay: $24.97 - $32.00 per hour
