Position Details
- Job Title: Semiconductor Equipment Field Service Engineer (FSE)
- Job Type: Full-time, Exempt
- Schedule:* Day shift/Night shift/On Call/ Overtime/ Weekend availability as needed*
- Travel: Up to 30% ( need to travel may vary)
- On-site installation, maintenance, and technical support for customer equipment. Troubleshoot hardware/software issues, perform preventive maintenance, and keep customer operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up equipment per manuals and SOPs; troubleshoot electro-mechanical hardware/software and user issues
- Maintain equipment, replace parts, implement CIP, and install software/patches per SOPs
- Collect and analyze data logs; document and escalate abnormal issues to Senior Engineer/MTS
- Manage service history, perform regular status checks, and enter daily data in mySERVICE
- Create and maintain SOPs and technical documentation
- Run scheduled inspections, log alarms, and prepare summary reports (weekly/monthly/annual)
- Manage parts/accessory inventory and ordering; complete parts release forms
- Enforce all company/customer safety guidelines and 6S site standards
Qualifications
- 1–5 years of relevant experience (Entry to Junior level)
- Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred, but not required
- Strong hands-on technical skills
- Able to travel for short assignments and perform 24/7 standby duty on a rotating basis
- Basic computer skills for documentation (MS Word, Excel, etc.)
- Good communication skills to work effectively with customers
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with plasma processing, vacuum systems, dry strip, dry cleaning, descum, reflow, advanced packaging, or related semiconductor process equipment is highly preferred.
