We are looking for a composite technician to join our talented team. Flexible schedules, competitive wages, and great benefits. This is a hands-on shop position for a person who is self-motivated, and has good general mechanical skills. As part of a small team or on your own, you will be building custom, composite parts ranging in size from 120 foot masts for sailboats to small composite parts used in industrial applications. Most of these parts are made from carbon fiber which has been pre-impregnated with epoxy. After the parts are laminated, there is a significant amount of mechanical assembly that must be done. Through the neatness and accuracy of your work, you will be responsible for maintaining the high level of quality for which GMT is known. Experience in composite construction techniques is certainly a plus, however, we will train people with the right attitude.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
