Your Role: Making a Meaningful Difference
As a Pediatric PT at Aprendamos, you aren’t just a clinician; you are a coach. You will provide face-to-face Early Intervention (Part C) services in the Natural Environment, empowering families to support their child’s growth during daily routines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement Neurodevelopmental Treatment (NDT) and evidence-based strategies for children (0–3 years) with Cerebral Palsy (CP), Torticollis, and developmental delays.
- Guide families through Gross Motor Milestones, Gait Training, and Motor Coordination activities.
- Consult on Adaptive Equipment and Orthotics to enhance Functional Mobility.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (SLPs, OTs, COTAs) to ensure a holistic Family-Centered Coaching model.
- Manage clinical documentation via modern LOS (Loan Origination Systems)—Wait, scratch that, let's stick to the clinical side: WebPT/EI digital documentation.
What We Are Looking For (Requirements)
- Education: Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
- Licensure: Valid New Mexico PT License (or eligibility for NM licensure).
- Specialties: Passion for Pediatrics and Early Intervention.
- Language Skills: Bilingual Spanish proficiency is a major plus!
- Mobility: Willingness to travel to homes and community sites (Service area includes Dona Ana and Sierra Counties).
