Duties

• Design and deliver engaging VEX Robotics lessons tailored to diverse age groups and skill levels
• Guide students through the process of building, programming, and testing robots using VEX kits
• Facilitate teamwork, encourage problem-solving, and promote a collaborative learning environment
• Manage classroom activities effectively, ensuring safety and positive behavior among students
• Prepare instructional materials, demonstrations, and assessments to support student learning
• Provide mentorship during robotics competitions and events to help students showcase their projects
• Communicate progress and achievements to parents, school staff, or program coordinators as needed

Requirements

• Proven experience in teaching or tutoring, especially in STEM or robotics-related subjects
• Strong classroom management skills with the ability to engage students actively
• Excellent communication skills to explain complex concepts clearly and motivate learners
• Prior experience working with children or young adults in an educational setting
• Knowledge of VEX Robotics systems, programming languages , and basic engineering principles is preferred
• Ability to adapt lessons for different age groups and skill levels while maintaining a lively learning atmosphere
• Passion for STEM education and inspiring students to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and math

Pay: $24.96 - $30.06 per hour
