To oversimplify what we do, we design and furnish for the hospitality industry. We make sure that all the furnishings that go into a facility (furniture, carpeting, lighting, etc.) are delivered promptly, accurately and within budget. We are also often at the front end designing what the space will look like along with specifying and selecting the various items.

Job Title: FF&E Estimator / Cost Analyst – Hospitality

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented FF&E Estimator to join our team. This role is responsible for developing comprehensive furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) estimates for hotel projects throughout the United States. The ideal candidate is highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, enjoys working with large amounts of data, and has exceptional organizational and analytical skills.

This position works closely with our Sales Team, Project Managers, Designers, Vendors and Manufacturers, to prepare accurate, competitive project bids while meeting strict deadlines.

Primary Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed FF&E estimates and bid packages for hospitality projects.
• Develop and maintain complex Excel estimating workbooks.
• Analyze furniture, finish, and equipment specifications to determine project costs.
• Solicit pricing from manufacturers and suppliers.
• Compare vendor quotations and identify the most competitive options while meeting project specifications.
• Verify quantities, pricing, freight, and installation costs.
• Ensure all estimates are accurate, complete, and submitted on schedule.
• Maintain estimating databases and pricing information.
• Collaborate with project managers and design teams throughout the bidding process.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising project design intent or quality.
• Assist in refining estimating procedures and improving internal processes.

Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, lookups, pivot tables, filtering, and data organization.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience estimating FF&E for hospitality, commercial interiors, multifamily, or contract furniture projects.
• Familiarity with hotel brands and hospitality specifications.
• Experience reviewing floor plans, furniture specifications, finish schedules, and project documentation.
• Knowledge of furniture manufacturers and vendor pricing.
