We provide full-service architecture and interior design services for the corporate, multi-family, hospitality, and entertainment markets. TRA Design is looking to add an Interior Designer to participate in these efforts and grow alongside our design team.

In addition to possessing a passion and skill in translating client goals into the built form, TRA Design is looking for a candidate that also has the following work ethic: team-oriented, a curious mind that always wants to learn, self-motivation, strong organizational skills, and enjoys working in an open office environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field
• 2-5 years of commercial design experience, co-op experience considered
• NCIDQ Certification, or actively pursuing desired

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:· Development of Space Plans / Test Fits· Development of presentation materials to effectively communicate design intent· Selection of Interior and Architectural finishes and lighting· Selection of Fixtures, Furnishings, and Equipment· Development of Construction Documents, ensuring code compliance and close coordination with the Architect· Submittal review and assistance of Construction Management· Remain up-to date on design trends, materials, and technical execution· Apply understanding of BOMA Standards of Measurement, developing square footage take-offs and analysis· Maintenance of the Materials Library and adherence to firm standardsSkills· REVIT (proficiency)· MS Office Suite· Adobe Creative Suite· Strong verbal and written skills· Space planning methodology· Understanding of construction documents, elevations, and details· Working knowledge of IBC Building Codes and ADA guidelines· Vendor management Apply

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
