Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Engineer Intern to join our team. This internship provides hands-on experience supporting environmental compliance, sustainability initiatives, engineering projects, and regulatory documentation. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, enjoys problem-solving, and is passionate about environmental stewardship and engineering excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with environmental assessments, inspections, and site evaluations.
• Support environmental compliance efforts in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Collect, organize, and analyze environmental data for reports and project documentation.
• Assist in preparing technical reports, permit applications, and regulatory submissions.
• Participate in water, air, soil, and waste management projects.
• Conduct research on environmental regulations, sustainability practices, and emerging technologies.
• Support environmental monitoring activities and maintain accurate project records.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to develop practical environmental solutions.
• Attend project meetings and contribute to engineering discussions and planning efforts.
• Perform other engineering and administrative tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a collaborative environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Eagerness to learn and contribute to real-world engineering projects.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with environmental regulations and compliance standards.
• Experience with GIS, AutoCAD, or other engineering software is a plus.
• Previous internship, research, or laboratory experience is beneficial but not required.

Pay: $24.76 - $29.82 per hour
