Metro Tech Electric is expanding across Oklahoma and seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to lead field operations on a long‑term project in Stillwater. This role oversees crews, ensures high‑quality installations, maintains schedules, and drives project success from the field. Job Summary:

The Superintendent Electrician will be responsible for overseeing all electrical installation projects, managing electrical teams, and ensuring compliance with national safety regulations and standards. S/he will coordinate work efforts, supervise project progress, ensure adherence to timelines and budgets, and liaise with clients and management to report on project developments. The Superintendent Electrician will also troubleshoot electrical issues, develop maintenance schedules, and ensure all work meets the highest quality standards.

Essential Functions:

Essential Functions of this position include, but are not limited to the following:

· Meet and/or Exceed all Essential Functions and Requirements of S1 Classification

· Oversee electrical installation, repair, and maintenance projects to ensure they are completed on time, within budget and to the client's specifications.

· Team Supervision: Manage a team of electricians, including allocating tasks, providing guidance, managing performance, and conducting training programs to develop staff skills.

· Compliance and Safety: Ensure that all electrical work is compliant with national safety regulations and MTE Safety Policy and Standards, including managing safety audits and site inspections.

· Quality Assurance: Monitor all projects to ensure they meet the highest quality standards and client expectations.

· Troubleshooting: Lead in diagnosing complex electrical issues, using advanced problem-solving skills to find and implement solutions.

· Client and Stakeholder Engagement: Regularly liaise with clients and stakeholders to keep them abreast of project progress, addressing any queries or concerns that they may have.

· Budget Management: Track project budgets, ensuring optimal allocation of labor resources and efficient labor management.

· Maintenance Scheduling: Develop a routine maintenance schedule and ensure adherence to minimize downtime and maintain efficiency.

· Technical Expertise: Keep up to date with advancements in the field of electricity to recommend improvements and modernize electrical installations and systems.

· Documentation: Keep accurate records of all jobs, documentation of work completion, and materials used for future reference and audit purposes.

· Effectively coaches/mentors/trains all team members

• Conducts jobsite safety evaluations.
• Develops and integrates project schedule effectively with other trades.
• Effectively communicates areas of concern/opportunity to PM to maintain or improve margin.
• Takes the initiative to run a thorough JHA. Is conscious of safe and unsafe acts on the jobsite and addresses and eliminates hazards accordingly. Consistently enforces and promotes workplace safety procedures (weekly toolbox talks, weekly safety audits, appropriate documentation, etc.)
• Consistently provides feedback and coaching to crew members including utilizing the Field Evaluation form/process.
• Effectively conducts and navigates through difficult conversations resulting in a positive

outcome.

• Demonstrates ability to complete basic paperwork (i.e., 6-Week Planners, daily logs, performance evaluations, purchase order logs, timecards, attendance, etc.) in a timely manner.
• Maintains compliance with company policies; consults with HR (and PM if appropriate) to ensure consistent corrective measures are taken, and documentation completed.
• Demonstrates excellent customer relations through utilization of effective problem-solving techniques.
• Has successfully developed a successor to move to the Foreman position.
• Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

Physical Demands and Working Environment

· Position requires working indoors and outdoors, while being exposed to all elements (Heat, Cold, Wind, Rain, etc.)

· Must be able to see color to discern color-coded wiring

· Lift up to 50lbs from ground and pull 50lbs of force.

· Fully squat, stoop or kneel for extended periods of time.

· Maintain a standing position for long periods of time while performing repetitive actions

· Comfortable and able to work at various heights. Work off ladders, scissor lifts,

Schedule:

· Work Schedule: Between the hours of 6:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday. May vary based on customer demands and can include, but is not limited to nights, weekends, and holidays.

Travel:

· Metro Tech Electric Inc. considers any assignments within a 60-mile radius (one-way) of the Main Office (3344 S Ann Arbor Ave. Oklahoma City, OK 73179) standard, and will not pay mileage, per diem, or any type of additional compensation or reimbursement. If an assignment is beyond 60-miles, Metro Tech Electric Inc. may provide additional compensation to the assigned employee(s) to offset the additional costs incurred by the employee.
