Job Description:
Summit is looking for a self-starting individual to join our firm as a Transition Analyst who will have accountability for the overall transitioning of acquiring firms’ accounts and agreements. You will actively collaborate with financial advisors and their staff in collecting and organizing data from various sources to complete the client and advisor onboarding process. Extensive communication with advisors, their teams and Summit’s internal teams while maintaining transparency is critical. You will contribute to long-term data mapping initiatives and onboarding technology projects designed to improve operational efficiency, enhance data quality, and streamline account onboarding processes. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on both the advisor transition experience and the ongoing evolution of Summit’s onboarding capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
· Partner with financial advisors, their staff, and internal teams to collect, validate, and organize client data from multiple sources into standardized formats to support account opening and onboarding activities.
· Facilitate the accurate and timely establishment of new accounts, ensuring a smooth transition experience that builds advisor and client confidence.
· Perform detailed analysis and review of spreadsheets, reports, and data files from various sources, transforming information into organized, actionable formats for advisors and internal stakeholders.
· Review all incoming documentation and data for completeness, accuracy, and quality, proactively identifying and resolving discrepancies.
· Utilize and manage multiple technology platforms, including DocuSign, Salesforce, Dispatch and other workflow management systems, to support onboarding and transition processes.
· Develop a thorough understanding of the end-to-end account opening lifecycle to ensure all requirements are met and accounts are processed in good order.
· Provide support and guidance to advisors and their teams regarding account-related inquiries and issues.
· Serve as a primary liaison between advisors and custodial partners, including Fidelity Investments, Charles Schwab, Goldman Sachs, and Pershing.
· Support advisor onboarding initiatives and internal transition activities, ensuring a seamless integration experience.
· Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve account-related issues throughout the transition and onboarding process.
· Research and respond to advisor and team inquiries, providing timely and accurate solutions.
· Generate and distribute reports through custodial platforms and DocuSign as requested.
· Collaborate closely with the Transition Team to provide ongoing operational support and maintain workflow efficiency.
· Maintain and update Summit’s internal workflow systems to effectively manage daily tasks and ensure accurate recordkeeping.
· Support management initiatives and operational priorities as needed.
· Participate in special projects, process improvement initiatives, and cross-departmental training and project opportunities.
· Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Skills and Experience Needed:
· Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, computer science, data analytics, or a relevant field preferred.
· Requires a minimum of 2-3 years related work experience. Wealth Management or Financial Services background is helpful but not required.
· Experience with Fidelity Investments, Goldman Sachs, Charles Schwab, Pershing and Docusign preferred.
· Expert Excel experience.
· Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook.
· Strong written and oral communication skills.

Pay: From $80,000.00 per year
