Microiota Solutions Inc. is seeking a part-time Finance Analyst Intern to support financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, research, and project-related financial activities for internal and client-facing assignments.

This role is ideal for a candidate interested in applying finance, analytics, business operations, and reporting skills in a professional consulting and implementation environment.

Key Responsibilities

· Support financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking, and variance analysis for internal and client-facing projects.

· Prepare financial summaries, spreadsheets, dashboards, reports, and presentations to support management and client deliverables.

· Analyze financial data, expenses, revenue assumptions, budgets, forecasts, and operational metrics to support business decisions.

· Conduct market, financial, and business research to support client engagements, project planning, and reporting activities.

· Assist with project-related financial reporting, including tracking costs, preparing summaries, and monitoring performance against planned targets.

· Support data validation, financial documentation, reporting templates, and process improvement activities.

· Coordinate with internal teams and supervisors to gather information, update trackers, and support timely completion of finance-related deliverables.

· Perform other related duties that support financial analysis, project finance, business operations, analytics, and reporting.

Qualifications

· Master’s degree completed or in progress in Finance, Business Analytics, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.

· Strong understanding of financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking, variance analysis, and financial reporting.

· Demonstrated ability to analyze financial, operational, and business data to support decision-making and client deliverables.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, data cleaning, financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

· Ability to use business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau to analyze data, build dashboards, and present insights for management decision-making.

· Ability to prepare professional financial summaries, dashboards, reports, presentations, and analytical materials for internal or client review.

· Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, written communication skills, and ability to summarize financial information clearly.

· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote work environment.

· Must be authorized to work in the United States.
