Job Description:
The PTE Golf Sales Manager position leads, coaches, and directs the sales team to achieve company revenue targets and growth. They are responsible for setting sales quotas, developing training programs, analyzing data for forecasting, setting and tracking KPI's, and recruiting staff, while also handling high-level client negotiations. Key skills include leadership, CRM proficiency, phone sales experience, and strategic planning.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
KEY COMPETENCIES AND JOB QUALIFICATIONS
· Experience: Proven experience in sales, often with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets, requiring 2+ years in a manager leadership role. Has experience with hiring, firing, sales training, and managing a sales staff of Account Managers. Experience in planning and running trade show booths.
· Leadership & Motivation: Ability to inspire a team and foster a positive, productive environment. Ability to keep sales team on track to hit their metrics weekly and improve the skills of employees who are not meeting the goals.
· Communication: Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
· Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows, CRM software (e.g., Method), Microsoft Office (Excel and Outlook knowledge needed), and other analytical tools. Ability to type 70+ Words Per Minute. AI experience and knowledge is a plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES
· The Sales Manager will work diligently to increase the leads in the Sales funnel through the development of marketing, advertising, landing pages, and social media campaigns to attract new customers.
· The Sales Manager will be responsible for handling the logistics and tasks involved with setting up the annual and sectional trade shows. This includes but not limited finding a sectional for the sales staff to attend, training the sales staff on how to work the sectional, provide the ales staff with table designs & material. Finally, they will ensure that all transportation concerns are handled for the sales staff.
· The Sales manager will set quota and sales targets for their staff. They will monitor the performance measurements of their staff on a regular basis. They will conduct quarterly and annual performance reviews to ensure targets are met.
· The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and monitoring the sales metrics of the sales staff. They will hold weekly meetings to discuss metrics and provide training and mentoring to the sales staff to ensure the are able to meet their targets.
· The Sales Manager will be responsible for their own, smaller territory to handle direct sales. They will also handle longer sales cycle clients that result in larger orders (PGA Tour Events and Corporate Orders).
· The Sales Manager will enter all the leads from the tradeshows into the CRM, distribute them to the Account Managers, and track their progress.
· The Sales Manager will be responsible for handling all the web orders that arrive via the website or email.
· The Sales Manager will provide oversight for the sales staff through the review of their estimates, managing workflow and overseeing all HR duties for the team,
· The Sales Manager will perform these duties and others that may be assigned by the Executive Team.
The job has a base salary of $70,000 plus a commission structure based on company growth, team sales, and personal sales. There is an additional override as long as the sales KPI's and goals are reached. With the override, the Sales Manager will be at $100k+ after being at the company for a year, with that override and their commissions continuing to grow as the company grows.
Pay: $70,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
