Job Summary
DICKE Safety Products is seeking a driven, results-oriented Regional Sales Manager who is passionate about building relationships, winning new business, and making a measurable impact. In this role, you will lead sales growth across an assigned region by developing strategic customer partnerships, expanding distributor networks, identifying new market opportunities, and supporting a best-in-class product portfolio. The assigned territory includes Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming.

Responsibilities
· Develop and execute regional sales strategies to grow revenue, expand market share, and support company growth objectives
· Manage, coach, and support sales representatives, distributors, and independent agents to improve sales performance and customer coverage
· Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, utilities, contractors, municipalities, industrial customers, and end users
· Maintain and grow existing key customer and distributor relationships while identifying opportunities to increase sales and market penetration
· Identify new business opportunities, target accounts, and market segments within the utility, telecommunications, construction, forestry, municipal, and industrial markets
· Promote DICKE Safety’s product lines by conducting product presentations, training sessions, demonstrations, and customer meetings
· Work closely with internal teams, including customer service, operations, engineering, and management, to ensure customer needs are understood and supported
· Monitor market trends, competitor activity, customer feedback, and industry developments to help guide sales strategy and product positioning
· Prepare sales forecasts, territory plans, pipeline updates, call reports, and other performance metrics as required
· Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, distributor meetings, and customer visits to strengthen brand awareness and generate new opportunities
· Support pricing discussions, quotations, contract opportunities, and negotiations while maintaining profitability and long-term customer value
· Travel regularly throughout the assigned region to meet with customers, distributors, sales representatives, and industry partners
Qualifications
· 5+ years of sales experience, or 3+ years of sales management experience
· Proven ability to develop territory plans, manage sales pipelines, and meet or exceed revenue and margin targets
· Experience in manufacturing sales; preferably within the safety products, utility equipment, traffic safety, industrial tools, construction, or other related industries
· Strong business development skills with the ability to identify, pursue, and close new customer and market opportunities
· Strong leadership, coaching, team development, and cross-functional collaboration skills
· Excellent negotiation, communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
· Self-motivated, organized, and capable of working independently while maintaining regular communication with internal teams and leadership
· Ability and willingness to travel regularly (approximately 30%-50%)
· Valid driver’s license and/or access to reliable transportation required
· Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM/ERP software
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent industry experience will be considered
Salary Range
$95,000 - $120,000
The salary range for this position reflects the minimum and maximum compensation for the Regional Sales Manager position. Offers are typically made between the range minimum and the range midpoint. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, and expertise, as evaluated during the interview process, also taking into consideration available market data for the employee’s geographical location and internal salary equity.
