Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Assistant Manager who will assist the store leaders in making the store successful.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and develop team members in order to achieve sales goals while delivering outstanding customer service.
• Oversee inventory control, stock replenishment, merchandising, and pricing strategies to maximize sales potential.
• Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure a positive shopping experience for all visitors.
• Hands on in the dairy/frozen department by ordering, facing, cleaning and whatever else is necessary for the department to reach its potential.
• Unload trucks overnight when needed.

Skills

• Experience in retail management with strong leadership and team supervision skills would be preferred.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage managerial conversations effectively.
• Demonstrated expertise in sales management, retail math, and operational oversight.
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining high standards of customer service.
• Organizational skills with attention to detail in stock control, merchandising, and store presentation.
• Ability to work unsupervised overnight as needed.
