ASSISTANT ECOMMERCE MANAGER

Job Description:

T&C Surf Designs is currently looking for a full-time Assistant Ecommerce Manager to join our rapidly growing Ecommerce Division. This individual will collaborate and work closely with our Ecommerce, Merchandising and Marketing teams. The Assistant Ecommerce Manager will join the online team to assist in the day-to-day operations and marketing. Ideal candidates will have experience with Ecommerce operations and marketing. T&C is seeking an individual who is looking to grow as an Ecommerce professional, can thrive in a fast-paced environment and possesses the ability to find creative ways to get the job done.

Key Responsibilities:

You will be reporting to the Ecommerce Manager and assisting the Ecommerce Team in the following areas:

• Responsible for all day-to-day ecommerce operations of Shopify site.
• Develop and execute strategies to increase online traffic, sales, conversion rates and average order value.
• Analyze site performance, customer behavior, and campaign effectiveness using tools like Google Analytics, Shopify Analytics, and other reporting platforms.
• Develop and execute marketing strategies across email, website, social media (organic and paid), and other channels to drive traffic and revenue.
• Upload incoming product to Shopify and ensure accurate copy, images, product descriptions are displayed and merchandised.
• Help maintain all operations of Shopify orders (edit order, process refunds, discrepancies, etc.).
• Manage Customer Service emails daily and ensure all inquiries are answered and handled.
• Help maintain and request weekly merchandise transfers based on selling and inventory availability.
• Interact and work closely with ecommerce warehouse team.
• Merchandise online website to ensure it is up-to-date with product, inventory, and marketing collateral.
• Report and analyze ecommerce business and various data.
• Assist with coordinating marketing collateral (email blast, photoshoot, marketing strategies, social media).
• Collaborate with other T&C Surf departments to ensure ecommerce business performs and achieves company goals.
• May need to complete other duties as assigned during busy season.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field (relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of the educational requirements).

· 2-3 years’ work experience in E-commerce and/or Social Media Marketing.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

· Highly analytical, with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions.

· Experience in SEO, Google Analytics and digital advertising platforms is preferred.

· Experience with Shopify Platform a plus.

· Experience with Klaviyo a plus.

· Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign) a plus.

· Knowledge of digital photography, composition and lighting a plus.

· Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

· Possess a positive, can-do attitude that looks for solutions to problems and is always willing to pitch in where needed.
