Duties

• Assist customers with firearm and ammunition selections, ensuring adherence to all safety protocols and legal requirements
• Verify customer identification and eligibility in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations
• Maintain accurate records of firearm transactions, including proper documentation for regulatory compliance
• Conduct routine inspections of firearms inventory to ensure safety standards are met and products are properly stored
• Stay informed on current ATF regulations and firearm-specific legal updates affecting sales and handling procedures
• Collaborate with team members to implement compliance management software for tracking inventory and regulatory documentation

Experience

• Previous experience in retail or customer service roles is preferred but not required; a strong interest in firearms safety is essential
• Knowledge of ATF regulations
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance management software and data analysis skills will enhance your effectiveness in this role
• Demonstrated understanding of health regulation policies, drug regulation (if applicable), or risk management practices is advantageous
• Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams while managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong organizational skills with a focus on quality assurance and superior customer service
