This role is heavily focused on origination/hunting and applicants should have a proven track record of generating organic revenue growth through prospecting tools and techniques.

Skills and experiences

• Experience in IT project sales and solution selling is required.
• Experience building a robust network and cultivating client relationships in different industry verticals.
• Proven track record of generating revenue growth.
• Superb interpersonal skills and the ability to overcome obstacles.
• You are a team leader, deal hunter, deal idea maker, and deal originator.
• Minimum five to seven years of experience.

What You’ll Do?

The Small, Medium, and Corporate (SMC) Sales team helps businesses achieve their digital transformation and business goals. You will focus on customers across industries and company sizes to identify their needs and opportunities using the latest in digital selling technology. The BDE will help customers realize value from Cloud across customer solution areas like Modern Work, Security, Business Applications, Infrastructure, and Data and AI.

The BDE will develop networks within their client base, within the market they’re targeting and with key partners. They are team-players and in many cases, leaders. To get business done internally and externally, BDEs lean on a cross-functional internal team to configure winning proposals and projects that meet our client’s needs. BDEs negotiate agreements with the customer, and internally with commercial colleagues to ensure that customer requirements are met at an acceptable level of profitability.

When we win new clients, we want to keep them and build a great client experience. BDEs are key to cultivating this and are always looking for ways in which additional products/services and breadth of solutions can grow the client relationship.
