JOB SUMMARY: This role will support the firm in the areas of client service, information management and compliance with focus on insurance related products and services. This person is the liaison between the network office, home office as well as the ensemble and clients. Specific responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Review case notes, process correspondence and maintain client case files.
File statements, application forms and other insurance related materials digitally.
Answer and direct telephone calls as appropriate.
Communicate directly with clients for service-related issues such as, but not limited to, requesting signatures on forms, discuss late payments or impacts of changes to their products, address changes, bank information changes, loan requests, and ISA service requests.
Implement a process to complete follow-ups to ensure tasks are fully completed.
Monitor Daily Status Report (DSR) and expedite any additional underwriting requirements.
Prepare policies for delivery.
Maintain investment process knowledge, including processing applications, check logs, and service requests as a back up for other team members.
Participate with the support of the ensemble advisors in various activities of the sales cycle for non-securities products.
Initiate and perform sales of Additional Purchase Benefit (APB), Future Increase Benefit (FIB) and term conversions.
Actively participate in conservation of existing insurance business.
Complete and review insurance applications, conversions and policy changes for accuracy.
Arrange medical, paramedical and any exams necessary for underwriting.
Provide status for insurance products for ensemble Monday reporting.
Gather information needed to complete and review all insurance/annuity applications, conversions and policy changes.
Complete illustrations for applications and/or client meetings.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Health and Life licensed in South Carolina
Associate Financial Representative contract required within 90 days of employment
Experience in administrative support or customer service, preferably in the financial services and/or insurance industry
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Familiarity with Microsoft applications and data entry and information retrieval software
Demonstrated organizational and time management skills and ability to multitask, set priorities and meet deadlines
Strong attention to detail with the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy
Ability to proactively identify what needs to be accomplished and take action as appropriate
Has interest in learning on a continuous basis
Ability to embrace change and work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work both independently and in a team
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Previous insurance experience highly recommended
Pay: $47,500.00 - $60,000.00 per year
