Our model handles billing, HR, payroll, compliance, marketing, and vendor management so our Clinical Director can focus entirely on delivering exceptional care and leading a high-performing team.

We are seeking our founding Clinical Director to lead and grow with the platform.

The Opportunity

This is not a traditional associate role and it is not solo practice ownership. It is a third path a leadership position with strong compensation, a clear production upside, and a quality of life that independent ownership rarely affords. You practice dentistry at the highest level. We run the business.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the clinical lead for the practice, overseeing general dentistry services and periodontal care including SRP, osseous surgery, implant placement, and D4910 maintenance protocols
• Partner with DSO leadership on practice growth strategy, new patient acquisition, and clinical quality initiatives
• Lead, mentor, and evaluate the clinical team including hygienists and dental assistants, fostering a collaborative and patient-first culture
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, MDHHS regulations, and all Michigan Board of Dentistry standards
• Champion a hygiene driven recall system and in-house perio workflow that maximizes in house production
• Collaborate with the DSO-managed RCM team on treatment plan presentation, case acceptance, and insurance coordination
• Participate in strategic decisions regarding equipment, technology adoption, and future location expansion as the platform grows

Qualifications

• DDS or DMD required; Periodontics specialty training strongly preferred (Certificate, Board Eligibility, or Board Certification)
• Licensed or license-eligible in the State of Michigan
• 5+ years of clinical experience preferred, ideally in a group practice, DSO, or specialty setting
• Familiarity with Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or comparable practice management software
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills — comfortable leading a team as well as delivering excellent chair-side care
• Entrepreneurial mindset with an appreciation for the business side of dentistry
• No prior ownership experience required — we provide the infrastructure; you provide the clinical excellence

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $230,000 per year
