Job Duties:

• Write or edit programs for precision machinery.
• Ensure that precision machinery is in working condition and property calibrated.
• Determine program requirements based on design and engineering requirements.
• Operate and program precision machinery as needed.

Education/Experience:

• Associate degree in technical field or applicable work experience.
• Minimum of five (2) years of aerospace inspection or quality experience.
• Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) experience required.
• Familiarity with CMM software such as Zeiss Calypso of FARO.

Knowledge:

• Possesses a knowledge and understanding of tooling, gauges, specifications, procedures.
• Extensive knowledge and understanding of industrial manufacturing processes and techniques.
• Advanced Blueprint reading skills for interpretation of drawings, notes, revisions, GD&T tolerances, and symbols.
• Strong working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Good Working knowledge of statistics and metrics.
• Strong problem-solving experience using root cause analysis.
• Knowledge of inspection and control methods, techniques, and documentation.
• Knowledge of continuous improvement and experience implementing lean manufacturing.

Job Related Specific Skills:

• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrates strong communication and customer (both internal and external) interface skills.
• Strong project management skills
• Ability to work and interact with departments throughout and external to the organization.
• Ability to work alone or in a team environment with minimal instructions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $37.00 per hour
