• Support food handling and preparation tasks as directed by kitchen staff, including basic food prep and ingredient organization.
• Follow manual handling protocols when lifting heavy items such as large pots, trays, or bulk supplies to prevent injury.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, floors, and dining areas through regular cleaning routines to uphold health regulations.
• Adhere to food safety management practices by following proper sanitation procedures during dishwashing and food handling.
• Assist with catering or banquet setups by transporting supplies and ensuring the area remains tidy throughout service.

Skills

• Prior experience in restaurant or hospitality environments demonstrating food service or catering skills.
• Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and food handling regulations.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while managing kitchen equipment or supplies.
• Strong knife skills for basic food prep tasks when needed.
• Experience with dishwashing machines and manual dishwashing techniques.
