Role Summary:

The General Manager serves on our executive team as a forward thinking-partner providing

visionary leadership to ensure the overall effort of the directors achieves the business goals.

Additionally, the General Manager serves as the guardian of the financial return critical

success factor. The manager’s first responsibility is to the operator to set goals for profitability of

the business. Shows ownership in the restaurant having a growth mindset. This individual monitors

the level of communication between the directors and other leadership for adequacy. The manager

must ensure that the relationship among the teams is healthy and strong. Partnering with the

operator to protect the safety and security of the restaurant, the Manager must fully understand all

the risks facing the business and be passionate about implementing policies, providing necessary

communication, and taking immediate steps to protect Chick-fil-A. Serves as the primary point of

contact with visiting Operators and leadership teams.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Co-creates with operator the long-term vision for profitability
• Leading and overseeing the coordination of all aspects of restaurant operations
• Ensures customer satisfaction at all times
• Engages in immediate problem resolution and short-term plans to correct critical issues
• Drives financial performance and provides feedback to leadership and suggest operational

actions required to achieve financial targets

• Manages the budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for the restaurant:

oversees the labor and schedule for the week

establish and posts daily sales goals to the team

tracks and charts sales, labor and productivity of each day-part daily

reviews the IPO and works with executive team to improve where needed

establish project budgets to assist managers with proper decision making

maintains daily reports of clock-in and clock-out times of team members

oversees inventory management and month end processes

ensures payroll accuracy

• Audits HR files and labor practices for compliance
• Maintains cashier accountability log and daily cashier reports
• Oversees organization and maintenance of back office
• Strategizes with the Director of Quality to monitor food cost and manage waste
• Partners with the Director of Talent to recruit & select world-class team members
• Promotes unity among all team members and leadership through effective and timely

communication of vision, weekly events, key elements of business plan, etc.

• Maintains healthy relationships with all levels of leadership
• Coaches and mentors team members
• Prepares leaders to speak intelligently about processes, best practices, and the business
• Meets weekly with Executive Leadership Team as strategic partner
• Serves as point-of-contact for executive team and restaurant team members
• Analyzes quarterly CEM reports
• Monitors The Exchange for best practices & engages in best practices visits to other restaurants
• Drives continuous improvement

REQUIREMENTS

• BA/BS degree or higher
• Microsoft Office or Equivalent familiarty
• Well organized with excellent verbal, written, and electronic communicatioins skills
• ServSafe Certified

In our kitchens, we focus on fresh and simple ingredients. And we always have. Since the beginning, we've served chicken that is whole breast meat, with no added fillers or hormones, and we bread it by hand in our restaurants.
