A Customer Experience Specialist (CES) is responsible for providing customers with high quality, prompt, and professional financial services.

As a single point of contact, The CES performs a variety of customer banking transactions and provides quality service to existing and new clients in accordance with the rules, regulations, and guidelines of Woodland Bank.

A CES performs in the development of client relationships by cross-selling banking products and services as appropriate.

Woodland Bank is seeking a candidate who is willing and able to work in a fast-paced, busy environment. It is imperative the candidate is able to multitask effectively and remain composed while providing exceptional experience to all customers.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

· Process customer financial transactions in accordance with the rules, regulations, and guidelines of the bank.

· Perform basic financial transactions, including but not limited to: check cashing, withdrawals, deposits, and loan payments.

· Provide exceptional customer service in a prompt, efficient and courteous manner.

· Open new accounts and accurately prepare all required documents for completing the transaction.

· Assist customers with routine issues and refer to management staff if necessary.

· Develop basic knowledge of products/services offered by Woodland Bank to effectively assist the customer; recognize opportunities to offer additional bank products/services by referring customers to the appropriate colleague within branch.

· Comply with all operational controls, including legal, corporate, and regulatory procedures in order to minimize risk.

· Maintain a cash drawer and follow proper balancing and reconciling procedures.

· Provide additional services, including the issuance of money orders, cashiers and travelers’ checks, and the redemption of U.S. Savings Bonds.

· Adhere to the Bank’s Code of Conduct.

· Perform other duties and tasks as requested.

Additional Duties & Responsibilities

· Perform non-teller clerical duties on a periodic basis.

· Display a willingness to be cross-trained on non-teller functions.

· Work weekends/extended hours and at neighboring branch locations when necessary.

Skills, Education & Experience

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Customer service experience

· A minimum of 1 year of prior teller experience

· Basic computer skills

· Strong communication skills

· Detail oriented and able to function in a fast-paced environment

· Self-motivated and able to multitask

· Critical thinking skills

· Possess a strong work ethic and positive attitude

· Regularly required to accurately perceive, distinguish and interpret information received visually and through audio; e.g., words, numbers and other data broadcasted aloud/viewed on a screen, as well as print and other media

· Moderate sound as in business office with office machines, computers, and people traffic
