Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide exceptional customer service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Toast
• Process payments efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and digital transactions with accuracy
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in food handling, dining areas, and service stations
• Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff when needed
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
• Foster guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns promptly, and creating a welcoming atmosphere

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments, fast- casual preferred
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Toast
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently
• Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
• Experience in serving, bussing, or hosting/hostess roles is a plus
• Culinary or kitchen experience is beneficial for supporting food prep when necessary
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment
