The role:

Heavy civil project manager. This role is for an experienced heavy civil project manager and requirements listed below. This company is always busy.

Requirements of heavy civil project manager

5-8 plus years minimum as a heavy civil construction Project Manager ( Civil site, utility, excavation, private work)

MUST have site or any other relevant heavy civil type experience for civil projects

experienced with submittals/ change orders, managing subs.

4 year degree

Responsibilities of heavy civil PM

1. Project Planning and Scheduling

• Review project plans, timelines, and heavy construction schedules.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, and stakeholders to finalize project scope and milestones.
• Utilize Critical Path Method (CPM) or other scheduling tools.

2. Budget and Cost Control

• project budgets.
• Review and expenditures and change orders.
• Track costs and forecast cash flow to ensure the project stays within budget.

3. Contract Administration

• Manage contracts with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients
